LSN 2000 FEATURES NETWORKED circuitry with
addressability, field programmable software, and ease of operation. The system
can be assembled with relative simplicity as a single cabinet stand - alone
unit or with remote cabinets, all with networking capabilities. The
Fire Command Center (FCC) contains a high intensity, 80 - character fluorescent
2 - line display. Additional control and display modules can be configured with
a tri - color strip printer whichprovides a hard copy of all system operations,
and a multi - audio control module with two - channel voice communication can
be added, with firefighter phone and microphone paging. System networking
allows installation of multiple FCCs throughout a building or campus
complex. The microprocessor - based Intelligent Transmission Cabinet
(ITC) incorporates a distributed database, allowing true peer - to - peer
networking. The ITC includes motherboard, electronic option cards, power
supplies, audio equipment and batteries - all with configuration flexibility. A
display module provides and LCD readout of cabinet operations. LSN
2000's unique Ground Fault Locator can isolate a loop and pinpoint a ground
fault, assisting in troubleshooting the downed circuit. The Color
Graphics System (CGS) displays floor plans indicating alarms and trouble
locations on a 19" touch color monitor, with numerous menu selections and
histories of all system operations. LSN 2000 has been designed to meet
the demanding criteria of national code - setting agencies and the stringent
fire regulations of major US cities. The system's design flexibility affords
tremendous cost - effectiveness. It is truly the life - saving technology for
the next century. |
